So, I might be a smidgen behind on blogging – for shame – but the good news is I have a ton of pictures to share with you in the coming weeks!

Today I’m excited to show off Jennifer & Scott’s June wedding! Jennifer and Scott are a pretty easy going pair and cute too! In the days before their wedding, Jennifer mentioned wanting pictures on some swings at a park nearby. While I can’t remember why we couldn’t make it to the park, we stumbled across the cutest set of swings in between the church and reception and all thoughts of the park diminished. What a GREAT place!

After capturing their portraits, we were on to the party where both of their friends and families were so welcoming. It really makes me love my job when I work with such warm people.

All in all, I’d say we had a pretty sweet, mellow and thankfully dry day.

Jennifer has such a sweet smile! Cuteness!

Happy 9th birthday to Cousin Allison!

I think it was a tie during the bouquet toss! lol

Grandma’s expression is adorable – I hope Scott’s buddy got his dollar’s worth.

Thanks again for letting me play such an important role in your day, Jennifer and Scott! I hope your first month of marriage has been absolutely perfect!!

And below is a picture of me, um, doing my thang. lol. I don’t often get to see what I actually look like taking pictures – the answer is hilarious!!  It’s a darn good thing there isn’t any audio to accompany this. I say some pretty goofy things too…

Last month Lara, Tom and I met at the KC Public Library for their engagement session and what fun we had! Lara is an English teacher (oh, what she must think of my terrible grammar…) so it was only natural for her to want to be surrounded by books! And Tom, the gentleman he is, was content to be along for the ride. Armed with my fancy camera and their knack for whimsical drama, I’d say we nabbed some pretty darn adorable moments!

In part one of my 2 day adventure with Trinity and Skyler, we went over to Penguin Park in Kansas City. We wouldn’t have split the session in half, except that it was really cold and one of the girls was on the tail end of a cold so keeping her outside felt kind of mean! It really worked out for the better because I traveled overt to their adorable home where I ended up covered in fall leaves (hilarious!!) and then we shared cupcakes for Skyler’s 5th Birthday picture.

My job is amazing.

And now day two!

So….I may be a little biased but I think Tiffany and Robbie going to be the cutest bride and groom in 2010. What?? She’s family and as of next April he will be too! Incidentally – hee hee – I had a fabulous time running around Kansas City with them last month and I’m super excited to document their big day.

Robbie had access to the Western Auto rooftop – super cool – where we started the afternoon and then we made our way to the Crossroads and the Power & Light District…

I know, I know!! I should be ashamed for taking such a long time to blog anything new, but…better late than never, right?! Especially when there is a squishy little baby face to stare at!!

Michael was less than a couple days old when his mom asked me to join her at the hospital. My afternoon just happened to be open so – of course – I packed up my gear and headed right over! When I arrived, I was instantly struck by his thick black hair and oh so long eyelashes. I can’t express how happy brand new babies (other people’s, heheh) make me, especially when they are such sweet and old souls like Michael!
