Before I talk about my last wedding of 2009 (waaaah!!!), I want to say that it’s been a great year. I’ve had a blast migrating my business to a new town and I am so grateful to my fantastic Kansas City couples for taking a chance on me despite my fledgling of a reputation in the KCMO area. 2010 is already shaping up to be a full swing kind of year and i couldn’t have done it without all of my fantastic clients and new friends. Thank you so much!!

Lurleen and Chris are an elegant twosome with such a great respect for each other! I won’t go into great detail about it, but they have been through A LOT in the past couple of months making their wedding extra special to everyone involved, including me. But despite their trials, Lurleen handled a large portion of the planning and aesthetic of their day which turned out to be quite impressive! Alas, we had hoped for a beautiful and stress-free day and that is just what we got!

Ahh, the warm days of September. Though heartily missed on 40 degree days like today, I’m happy to be able to share the  images from Tobey and Nick’s simply beautiful outdoor ceremony to melt your little hearts.

I was amazed at how calm they both seemed to be all day – not even the inevitable things that didn’t go as planned were met with an, ‘Oh well…’ But when you see how AMAZING Tobey looked in her mermaid style gown and long flowing veil, you will understand why! Nick’s a lucky guy…
